“Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya” popularly known as “ JNV” is a fully residential & co-educational academic institution affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi(CBSE) with classes from VI to XII adopting a trilingual formula with vernacular as one of medium of instruction up to Class-IX.Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) , an Autonomous Organization is the apex regulatory body of these Vidyalayas Nation wide under the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya are fully residential, co-educational schools affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi having classes up to 12 standard. Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, an autonomous Organization under the ministry of HRD, Government of India, manages these Vidyalayas. Admission to these Vidyalayas is through a test called JNVST to Class VI. Children are predominantly from rural areas and there is 30% reservation for girls.
